HATCH Pitch 2019 Finalists Announced
With hundreds of applicants over the past year, the HATCH Pitch team had a difficult task of narrowing down and selecting the finalists for the annual HATCH Pitch Summit 2019 taking place on March 11th. Our incredible roster of alumni whoalumni that have had the opportunity to pitch on the HATCH Pitch stage have achieved a lot since the first HATCH Pitch at SXSW in 2012. Our finalist alumni have garnered over $340 million in funding with 10 exits, and are excited to welcome 4 new finalists to their ranks. Without further ado, congratulations to our 2019 Finalists:
Edwel Energy: Sydney, AUS- An app which allows consumers to compare the carbon footprint of millions of products and services, enabling them to make the most environmentally responsible decisions.
eHealthNow: Philadelphia, PA- The first HIPAA compliant platform that focuses on
optimizing cancer treatment plans for patients in China locally utilizing oncologists overseas.
Mambo: Dallas, TX- An innovative webapp for communities looking to easily personalize member experiences and in turn, increase their sense of belonging and potentially add/increase revenue.
Neuroflow: Philadelphia, PA- A healthcare technology and analytics company with a decision supporting tool that promotes behavioral health access and engagement in order to improve outcomes, overall wellness, and cost of care.
The selected companies will each have four minutes to pitch their revolutionary startup before fielding questions from an impressive panel of judges, mentors, and alumni. Our previous judging panels have included, Werner Vogels (CTO, Amazon), Nicole Glaros (Managing Director, Techstars NY), Rahul Sood (Founder, Microsoft Ventures), John Frankel (Partner, ff Venture Capital), Lynne Chou (Partner, Kleiner Perkins Caufield and Byers), Kerry Rupp (Venture Partner, True Wealth Innovations), Patrick Eggen (Director, Qualcomm Ventures), Aya Zook (Principal, Microsoft Ventures), Ben Wilson (CTO, GE Oil & Gas), Balaji Gopinath (VP of Emerging Technology, Turner Broadcasting/Media Camp), Rick Pleczko (CEO, symplr), Stephen Forte (Managing Director, Fresco Capital), Unity Stoakes (President and co-founder, StartUp Health), and Ted Serbinski (Partner, Detroit Venture Partners).
