Houston Startup Happy Hour

Last Thursday night, Jan 22, marked the re-emergence of a great community pastime, the Houston Startup Happy Hour. The evening brought together entrepreneurs and startup community enthusiasts from all over the city to celebrate a great year in H-town startups and an even brighter 2015. It was a night of fun, friends, and new faces encased in the warm, intimate backdrop of a Midtown pub. The streaming smiles and outreached hands of those in attendance opened the door for great conversation and to really get to know the depths of each others dreams. Entrepreneurial events are always electric atmosphere and HSHH’s first night back was no different.

Special thanks to the evening’s guest speaker, John Frazier - Director of Investments at Presidio Venture Capital, for giving us a window into the newly formed partnership between PVC and START Houston. Also, special thanks to Greg Wright, Founder of HATCH pitch, for sharing some of the very cool things that will be happening at their SXSW 2015 event in March. And last but not least, special thanks to the evening’s organizer, Isaac Valadez - CEO of ZiqquForge, for making it happen. Awesome to have HSHH back on the calendar and to see it with such great community support. This city rocks!
